This is a high specification petrol generator for jobs that need a high power output. With 8500 watts of power and a 16HP 4 stroke OHV engine you will have all the power you need. The unit is easy to start with a button start or you can use the manual pull start. Not to be confused with inferior alloy wound motor models, this has a full copper wound motor making it stronger and giving better, more consistent performance. There is a normal UK 230V plug socket and also an industrial 32A socket that is needed for some hot tubs etc. The fuel tank is a big 25 litres so you can fill and forget for the day. Other features include air cooling, surge protector and automatic voltage regulator.

Is it brand new?

Yes it is brand new from the factory.

Yes it comes with a 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects. Our service centre is in the UK to serve any warranty needs.

If there is a fault with the generator in the warranty period we will arrange for it to be collected and brought back to our workshop for it to be repaired and sent back to you.

Yes you need to put normal engine oil into the oil sump. Oil is available from petrol stations and we also sell it so can be added to your order.

The generator can be used as a backup generator for a home. Each device in your home will have a different wattage so adding up the wattage of all your devices will tell you the total wattage needed from a generator. A modern light for example should only need less than 20 watts, a TV would need 50-200 watts and a fridge would use 300-800 watts. So this generator should have more than enough power for a normal household.

Mainland UK delivery is free. 

Orders received before 1pm are usually sent the same day. Orders received after 1pm are sent the next day. So if you ordered on Monday afternoon it would be sent on Tuesday. We do not send or deliver on the weekends so orders placed over the weekend will be sent on Monday. Due to the size of this item it is sent via Palletways courier that takes 2-3 days for most of the UK.
